Hi! I’m Catherine Ferguson, mom to swimmers Henry and Jack Ferguson. We’ve been a part of the Lowry team for the past five years and I’m excited to coach again.
My swimming journey began when I was 4 on a summer league just like Lowry Swim Team. I joined a USS Club team when I was 8. I continued a successful swimming career through high school and then in college. My husband and I both swam for Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. The women’s team was NCAA Champions three of my four years. I was an NCAA finalist in the 200 and 100 butterfly and 200 IM.
I coached a summer league team during my college summers and a high school team my first two years after college. I then joined Hearst Media for 14 years as a marketing executive before moving to Denver with my family. I am currently working at Park Hill Elementary while obtaining my teaching lisence and a Masters in Education. Swimming continues to be a big part of my life as well as my family.
Hi! I'm Sam Jaggers!
I have been swimming competitively for over 8 years and I have been a coach with Lowry Swim Team for 4 years. I changed clubs this short course season to Swim Dogs and qualified for silver state in 50 Free, 100 Free, 100 back, 200 Back, 400 team medley, 400 team free this past year. I also started the high school team with GW. Our team won the City League championship and I placed 4th in 500 Free! I qualified and raced at the 4A state championship in the 500 free and placed 23 in the state. I love working in the community and being outside as much as possible. During my free time I do homework and play video games with friends. I'm currently in school at Denver Academy where I have maintained straight A’s and been on the Dean’s list for the entire past year.
Hi! I’m Tom Worden!
I have been swimming with the Lowry Dolphins since I was 7 and with the USS team Swim Dogs since I was 8. I just finished my first high school swim season as well. We were the 2026 league champions! My favorite stroke is backstroke, and my favorite event is the 50 freestyle. Summer swimming is great because it is outside, and practice is early so you have all of your energy for it. Plus, the people on the team are great and it is fun to get to know each other.
Outside of swimming, I like to hang out with my friends and ride bikes. I just finished my Freshman year at George Washington High School and will be returning there in the fall.
I have been swimming since I could walk. My grandma was a swim instructor, so she taught me at a young age. I have been a Lowry Dolphin since I was nine years old. This will be my 6th year on the team and my second-year coaching.
My favorite stroke is breast stroke, and I like the relay races because you work together as a team and cheer each other on. I love the summer swim team because it is good exercise, and you stay warm in the pool because it’s sunny and nice outside. I enjoy being pushed by my coaches and seeing how much progress I can make in one season!!
Outside of swimming, I enjoy playing music in my band or with friends. I play drums and bass guitar. I also like riding my bike outside with friends. Lastly, I just finished my first year of high school. This year, I have been a dedicated student and have made many friends along the way. It was an amazing first year, and I got to join the East swim team. I made many friends and learned so much about the sport. I can’t wait to share what I have learned and keep working with this team over the summer.
Hi! I’m Katherine Cloud! I first joined the Lowery Swim Club one summer for fun, and I fell in love with swimming. I have been swimming with Lowery for 5 years, and I have also swum year-round with Swim Dogs. My favorite stroke is breaststroke, and during meets I like to compete in backstroke, breaststroke, and especially the Individual Medley. I look forward to summer swim because I love connecting with other swimmers, and it is an amazing way to start my day.
Outside of swim, I have had an amazing freshman year at Saint Mary’s Academy. I have maintained straight A’s throughout the school year, and have participated in many extracurricular activities. I did volleyball, dance, and tennis through school, and I did aerial, guitar, and School of Rock band on my own time. I am also so excited to start cheerleading with EHS and the before-school advanced choir at SMA in my sophomore year. I am so glad to be coaching for the first time this year. I love working with kids, and I truly hope to inspire young swimmers and help them fall in love with swimming, just as I did when I first joined the Lowery Swim Team.
